Lacking issues for Apr. 8, 1949; Sept. 24, 1943; Sept 31, 1945; and Dec. 21, 1946. Also lacking all issues between May 1949 and Sept. 5, 1950, consequentially missing the period of the KMT retreat to Taiwan. Folio, 8 vols. This weekly edition produced longer form articles in comparison to the daily, It changed its name to This week in free China after the Communists expelled the KMT.
